David Turpin’s Skinny Phone has been created in an effort to solve this very problem by combining significant features with a thin frame.

Turpin has worked to bring together a touch-screen and slide-out QWERTY for his concept phone so consumers can enjoy the minimized weight and size which plagues other popular devices like the iPhone.

By elongating the frame and using the sliding keyboard to cut down on face structure the Skinny Phone design may represent a solid, structural starting point for webphones to come.
