Hotel In a Bag

Most hotels provide lodging with the one-used disposable tooth brush, slipper, comb and so on. It is obviously not eco-friendly to our envirement. A good idea is that we bring all the normal cleaning tools with ourselves. Even the mattress can be transported like a bag!

Hotel in a Bag(EUR 198) is an inflatable mattress with straps for easy transport. It’s cool!

Letout Outlet and Rozetkus 3D power socket

Since we have come into a electronic world that we have used more and more powered devices and equipments in our home, we need more plugs to supply those devices, such as computer, media player, television and so on. There are two same power socket designs built more plugs into the plug itself, rather than relying on the ever-present power strip. What we need to do is just putting the socket out and plug.

1. Letout Outlet

We try to organize our homes to be as comfortable and practical as possible but sometimes all it takes are a few tweaks to make things simple. The Letout Outlet is a perfect example of hidden functionality in seemingly common household objects. The purpose of the outlet is reduce unnecessary clutter, keep outlet multipliers and cables neatly organized and generally make life easier when in need of multiple power sources. With the outlets safely hidden inside the walls multipliers become obsolete, as the additional outlets are simply a push away.

When the top of the outlet shell is pressed, the rest of it’s body is released and the remaining outlets that were previously hidden inside the wall compartment become visible and ready to use. When they are no longer needed another simple push puts them back into their original place. The outlet’s “hidden function” concept can be used in lots of different ways. For example it can alternatively serve as a hidden compartment for cell phone chargers.

2. Rozetkus 3D power socket

Yes, the next power socket looks like a handsome brother of Letout Oulet! I don’t know why there are so much likeness between this two designs.

Hiding in the wall until the right moment to strike, the Rozetkus sits flat unless more than one plug is needed. And look at the concepting! it goes all over the place! Normally I’m not into building everything all at once into the base product, aka I love extensions. But this is the right stuff.
